Our absolute favorite restaurant. The best Italian in Ibbenbüren! Every visit is like a short break in Italy. The takeaway is fantastic too! Great service, always friendly, everything fits. thanks

Very, very tasty

Very, very tasty and delicious whether pasta, stone oven pizza or a. Also now in the corona time in the pick-up service. Today we had a fungi pizza and one pasta with salmon, everything was very good. We can be happy to have such good Italian cuisine in town.

Just before the lockdown, I placed an out-of-home order. I ordered a Calabrese pizza. When I got home, a pale smell stung my nose. I didn't let that put me off because the pizza looked good. So I tried a piece of the Calabrese and found that the Calabrese salami was no longer valuable. The whole pizza was therefore inedible. Since the time had also advanced, I also refrained from telling the restaurant about it. It's a shame, because I had always recommended the fresh and delicious Italian cuisine. Unfortunately, I couldn't say so today. I can't even say for sure if I'll eat there again. Nevertheless, from an objective point of view, I give the restaurant 2/5 stars. My friend really enjoyed the green ribbon noodles in a mushroom cheese cream sauce. I don't want to judge whether this review is representative of the whole restaurant. I am only sharing my personal experience at "IL Gabbiano".

Unfortunately we cannot recommend this restaurant. The first round of drinks was picked up and brought relatively promptly, and we were also able to order the food while serving the drinks. After that, it became disastrous. Although the glasses had been empty on the table for minutes, no attention was paid to it. The service staff passed our table several times so that we could not place any further drinks orders. After an hour we asked about our meal. The waiter's statement was that he would ask. After an hour and a half, we were informed that the food would be served soon. Out of three dishes initially only two came. Unfortunately we didn't have any cutlery. After a few minutes the third meal came, again without cutlery. The cutlery was only brought on request. Unfortunately the food was pretty cold by now. Since we were extremely hungry, we ate it. We should have given it back, but we didn't feel like waiting for the waiters again. During the entire stay there was not even a question if everything was okay. It seems that regular guests are given preferential treatment, as the service was much more attentive. We expressed our dissatisfaction when ordering the invoice. There was no apology or grace. We had to pay the full amount and that among other things with a fillet of beef that cost 26 euros. The service responded with the succinct comment: "You could have returned it." The service staff was unfocused and probably very overwhelmed, as the menu was brought to the next table for the second time, although the food had already been ordered. This was our last visit to this restaurant.

Very tasty food and very nice staff! Gladly again

Just a great pizzeria with a cozy outside terrace, where you can just spend nice evenings. In terms of taste it was also great, the pasta was very well seasoned and is worth recommending. The service is very attentive and it was reasonably priced.

Delicious ice cream with my favorite people

Despite the reservation no table got, because all were occupied and therefore the minimum distance would not have been kept! The service was unfortunately not very friendly and seemed very annoyed.

Very good pistachio ice cream, you can tell that it is made from fresh milk ... Erit and the best ice cream parlor with beautiful places in the garden and smiling service. Always happy to be here.

For the second time, the workforce completely forgot about our order. When asked by an employee, we said we were waiting for the food. After we asked a short time later, the information came that the order was forgotten, we should look at the menu again. We didn't want to wait any longer and asked for the bill for the drinks. The owner noticed this situation, nevertheless had the drinks collected and said when he went out that he "actually wanted to take over the drinks." It was too late for that. We were often in this restaurant and always ate well, but the service and the behavior of the owner are not reasonable. We will not enter this pizzeria after 25 years.

THE Italian in Ibbenbüren. Cozy and atmospheric ambience with good service. Always a guarantee for a nice evening. Top! It may be advisable to make a reservation in advance.
